Proof of Liability Insurance and 2025 boat disclosure form

LPA REQUIRES proof of insurance, copy of current registration and a signed boat disclosure form before your 2025 boat stickers will be mailed or available for pick up.

You can email your proof of $100,000 liability insurance, copy of your current registration and the signed 2025 Boat Disclosure form to lakeoffice@lakepetersburg.org.

Sewer Issues – Your Help is Needed

Expensive sewer pumps are needing to be replaced because members or their guests have placed grease, feminine hygiene products and flush-able wipes in the sewer system. LPA members pay an annual fee for sewer maintenance; however, those fees are not intended to cover the cost of negligent or intentional damage to the system. The placing of items on the "do not place in drains or toilets list" in the system is considered negligent and intentional. If damage is caused to the sewer system that is negligent or intentional, it is the individual lease holder's responsibility to pay for LPA to correct.

Stored Trailers

All trailers stored at the maintenance area must have a current LPA decal with the owner's lot number posted on the tongue of the trailer.

Branch pick up is the 2nd Tuesday of each month April through October.

Boating Information

All motorized boats must carry $100,000 of liability insurance to operate on the Lake!

Fast boating hours start at 10 AM daily. The speed of boats shall be reduced to idle speed in NO Wake areas; at 8 PM or the official sunset, whichever occurs first. NO WAKE will be observed between the hours of 8 PM (or the official sunset) until 10 AM the following day.

Lake Speed Limit: 40 mph.

No Wake Areas: possibly 600-900 RPM, depending on your boat.

Idle speed: engage the motor and run the boat at the lowest rpm

Branch Pick-up

Branches will be picked up on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. If you have questions or need another pick-up, contact the Lake Office.

November 11th will be last day for pick-up in 2025.

Stickers will not be issued if annual membership dues, assessments, fees, fines, penalties or claims for payment are not current.

Bring your current boat registration card AND PROOF OF $100K LIABLILTY INSURANCE when you come into the office to get your boat sticker. The State does not send reminders to renew, so be sure to contact them to update it.

Application for a new construction or change in footprint is to be reviewed by a designated LPA professional, such as an architect. If considering new construction or changing the footprint, please contact the Lake Office to determine the appropriate steps for your project.
